Taste of Home?
My parents arrived a minute or two after I sat down and we went in search of a place to eat. It was hot out, and humid. I didn't realize I'd already adjusted so much to Seattle weather.
I miss NY sometimes, but not nearly as much as I thought I would. The first time I came back after we moved was bad. I felt homeless in my own city for the first time, and realizing that I would need to find a place to sleep that wasn't my own place was really disconcerting. That's dulled a lot in recent trips. I still don't feel completely at home in Seattle anymore, but I also don't belong in NYC.
While walking around, we passed this.
