Cooling Off

We walked around for a while and eventually found a place called H.K. (Hell's Kitchen) in, well, Hell's Kitchen. It was a hot day for walking and the place looked inviting. It was one of those modern places with concrete floors and sparse decor. The food looked good though, and very reasonably priced for NYC.

We hung out for a while there and caught up. I ranged between wired and exhausted for most of the time, but it was good to see them, if only for a few hours.

When we left, I still had some time before needing to head back, but it was too hot to just walk around outside. We went to the movie theatre on 34th and just hung out in the AC'd lobby for half an hour and talked.
