Fireballtacular Explodathon
I got really nervous when they announced that it would be a "family" fireworks show because "family" is usually not equivalent to "hardcore awesomeness". That was not the case.
This is probably the best fireworks I have ever seen, possibly even beating out the 90-second artillery barrage I saw years ago at the yearly Shea Stadium fireworks show (Mets lost 16-0).
Honestly, there were fireworks I had never seen before or even thought of. They had weird hanging lights that looked like chains of christmas lights that floated to the ground, slow jellyfish/comet/rockets that cast an umbrella of sparks as they went up, and dense textured cloudbursts of sparks. It was really an absolutely amazing spectacle, and I've never seen anything like it.
Fuck, yeah.
Also, it was so awesome that this car's alarm went off, I think, in tribute.
