The Magnificent Seven

There are few movies that are as packed with history and meaning for me as this one, and it only has very little to do with the movie itself. I've probably seen this movie 90 times, although not in the past decade or so, and never on the big screen.

M hasn't seen it before, but she's hooked quickly. It's just a great, fun western with an awesome cast, and in my opinion a lot more enjoyable than Seven Samurai on which it is based. I know that is anethma to movie fans, but that's how I see it.

I would be amiss if I didn't thank M for finding this showing and getting us tickets. Thanks, hon.

Now I want to see The Great Escape. Good thing I've got it TiVoed.
