Shadows and Dust
One of the main reasons I wanted to work for an ad agency is that I wanted to be around creative people. It's weird being in a place where I'm probably one of the least "creative" people around, but I'm hoping that I find it inspiring. So far, it hasn't really gotten me going.
Two of the guys I work with are doing some contest for people in advertising under the age of 28, and when I mentioned I had a good video camera, they asked if I would shoot something for them. So, I'm bringing it in.
Winter, frankly, was pretty easy here. January and Febrary were mild, and I didn't notice the grey or the dark, mostly because I was still outside and not bitterly chilled. March has easily been the worst month, but that's only because it looked like February would be the end of it. In most of winter it would be darkish when I left for work, but now there's often a really nice sumbeam by the bus stop and I like to stand in it like a dimetrodon and warm up. I may have mentioned this before, but the temperature difference between being in the sun and not can be pretty crazy.
