The rest of the day was not particularly exciting. M headed out to the beach around 6 and I puttered about the apartment, finally getting around to a shower and some exercise.
The Peters came back over around 9:30 and after an hour of agreeing that we didn't really have anything to do and didn't want to spend any money, we decided to walk over to this local bar that we'd never been to and looked kind of sketchy and well, local.
I didn't get any pics of the place, but I'll go back at some point and I'll take care of that. It was pretty much what you'd expect from a local bar except this being Seattle, they had some good beer on tap (and the only food was mini dorito bags). There were pool tables and darts, and I think we'll take advantage of those in the future as well (M has told me that the darts were fake and arcade-y, that you had to pay for them and such, so yeah, that would suck). We mostly sat at the bar for an hour or so and watched sports highlights and talked about Bonds and Boxing.
We got back home around midnight, and having only had a spoonful of peanut butter with some chocolate chips for dinner (am I in college again?), I nuked some fake chicken nuggets as a late snack before heading to bed.
I would have ordered pizza, but the place closed at midnight. We're definitely not in NYC anymore, but that's quite alright. The nuggets worked just fine.
