Magnetism
While we ordered some edibles, some Spanish girls came by with a beer they were giving out samples of and we tried it and they took pictures with us. It tasted pilsnery and not fantastic.
An hour or two and some fries, calamari, and nachos later, one of the people who was supposed to join us is still working at the office.
We grab a few beers at the local 24hr place and head back to the officefor some chilling and grousing. I do miss 24hr stores being everywhere. It's just not how things are done in Seattle. I don't mind my 10 minute walk to the grocery store either, but the near-instant availability of anything at anytime in NY is definitely a plus.
Tonight reminds me of the old days, and how much I miss them sometimes. I really used to like hanging out with friends late at the office. In the early days, we had a dartboard, and in the lesser-early days we had a band. Those things seem very long ago.
Also, I know I mix my tenses a lot on this thing. It's because this is all stream of consciousness and sometimes I am thinking in the present, and sometimes I thought in the past.
