Without Borders

It's been great to talk with these counterparts in the rest of the world. They're having similar successes and issues as we are, and being face to face has made us all very eager to make the most of the time together. This is not great for my work plans, but is definitely valuable.

It's times like this that I wish I was back in NYC with the rest of the US team, and that my role was less isolated as well. I want to be a part of every project and every decision, but in the end, that's for other people to take care of. I may even have ticked a few people off by involving myself in everything, but they'll deal. I will too.

Given that, I probably wasted a bunch of the night, but it was nice to dream.

Of course, 4 hours and many excited conversations later, I eventually headed back and went to sleep.
