On to Hamburg

While waiting to take off, I pick up the airline magazine. I always read these, since I usually forget to bring anything else to do. Sometimes, they have surprisingly good articles.

This one had an article on running in Discovery Park, which is right near me in Seattle. I just thought that was cool. And yeah, it is a great running route.

I also read the SkyMall when I get bored, and it is very amusing. I wonder who buys this stuff. Also, every issue is pretty much the same, so it isn't exactly an exciting read.

I remember at this point that I don't speak German, so I quickly email M and ask her to look up and send me some basic German words and phrases. That should help when we land.

I'm exhausted from not sleeping on my previous flight, and I'm unconscious before the beverage service comes through.

When I wake up, the old woman next to me says I looked very peaceful.
