KFC
We drop Tim at the airport and after a somewhat circuitous attempt to leave the parking complex we manage to escape the airport.
Adam and I are getting hungry, and it is now 11 or so and we haven't eaten anything yet.
The GPS can bring up restaurants so we look for some nearby.
Now, Crappy D has failed to capture here the three separate listings for "Kentucky Fried Chicken", "Chicken, Kentucky Fried", and "Fried Chicken, Kentucky". Fantastic.
We decide to pick a town on the map, Aschaffenburg, and head towards it.
As we pull off the highway, we see a castle, and a lot of old buildings. We're excited.
Rather than drive towards the castle, where we KNOW there will be something interesting, we take a little road off into the suburbs, where the GPS is telling us there is a cafe. After driving in circles for a while, we can't find the cafe, and park off the road.
We wander around and find a grocery store with a bakery attached, and get a pretzel (duh), and a croissant. Man, are the pretzels here good.
A guy runs up to us outside and tells us something in German that we think means that the police are ticketing cars, so we go back to see what the fuss is, and of course, there's no police.
We head up to a park behind us to finish the bread products, but the park is actually a cemetary.
We decide to head for the main town instead.
