Is That You, George?

We spend an hour or so catching up with Jens, but rapidly tire of 3-euro beer and crave something cheaper. The thing to do is go to a local deli (really just a liquor store, not sure why it's called a deli), pick up some bottles, and wander around.

We found a deli, and this sign was posted on the beer fridge. We had no idea what it meant, or why GW was on it, and didn't bother asking Jens to translate.

We grabbed a few bottles (alts, of course) and headed out back to the river to hang out and take in the scene.

Oh, we also asked Jens whether or not "wursthund" would make sense to him, and he seemed very confused. After we explained it, he thought that it was funny, but that they don't think of them as "sausage dogs". He also clarified that "dachs" are some kind of striped varmint that I initially thought were rabbits, but that Google later helped identify as badgers.
