Pretty Ugly

Tried to head out a bit early today and am waiting for the bus outside work. However beautiful much of the city is, and even the area where I work, this particular corner is not.

I am outside the Greyhound bus storage garage, and just off I-5. It's totally safe, from what I can tell, just not very attractive.

I meet some weird people waiting for the bus. One guy who works at the pizza place around the block has been moving around the country with his wife for the past few years, never staying in one place for more than 6 months, which isn't suspicious at all.

Once, a REALLY drunk homeless-looking guy kept asking me if I was ok and told me to take care of myself before stumbling off somewhere.

Also, see that white blob on the grass in the second picture? It's a used (yeah, that kind of used) diaper.

It's been 1 year exactly since we left NYC. Wow...
