Ménage A Duck

I've realized that I don't write about politics or any "real" news all that often. It's no secret that I've got pretty strong feeling on a wide range of subjects, and politics is no exception. Mostly, I find myself just getting frustrated whenever I think about this stuff, so I don't usually feel a great need to delve.

What's funny is that by the time this post goes up, this story here will be very old news. Political writing is so timely that you're out of date if the post isn't up within an hour or two. I do encourage reading of comments though on this stuff, if for no other reason than to provide a smug self-satisfaction that for all your faults, you are not nearly as functionally brain-dead as the people commenting on these articles.

This isn't really a political post, but more about the article itself. CNN, ever great fodder for mockage, has some good stuff in here, from the ellipses to the puns to the surreal link text.

Also, anybody else thrown by the choice of a Canadian whiskey?
