Big Day Too
Fresh from Tacoma, and courtesy of the ittybittykittycommitte (no, I didn't name it), this is Fergus MacLeod.
He is about 0.13 of Mush's size, but they're not really getting along yet. There haven't been any fights (not that a kitten is going to fight), but Mush is definitely on edge, and not very happy (he's grumpily on my desk right now). We're hoping that he just gets used to it soon and that they can both wander around together. Until then, there's a lot of keeping them separate and just getting used to each other's smells and presence. What's funny is that we think Mush forgets the kitten is there every now and then, and get's freshly surprised when he detects him.
I'm probably not going to do a lot of kitten posts, but I'm sure M will have more than enough for everyone's liking.

Julia just got a new kitten. Mao likes to clobber the little thing whenever she happens to wander in range. We're still settling in on a name, and we've been through a few. First was Kitty. Then came, and this was always said completely, 'Popcicle Creamcicle Anthony Bourdain Andrew Zimmern Manning.' Then came Stinky after she had to clean the litter box. But right now she seems pretty set on Jack Cheese.
