Travesty
The trip back home, a little sleep, a mad dash of work, and some packing, and we were off to NYC. Some friends are "getting married" (I'll explain later) a bit south of Buffalo and we're heading in to attend. We've got a couple of days in NYC beforehand, and arrive in Queens to stay at my parents around 9PMish.
The cab line is huge, so we take a bus to another bus (Q17, yay junior high) and M required immediate food. Everything was closed (this is NYC?) except for Domino's, and I tried not to think too hard about the inevitable revocation of my NY-er status for even being in this place.
In a bit of weirdness though, the manager was one of the nicest people possible. Like, Seattle-nice.

Dude, everything was CLOSED!!! And that guy was seriously nice. Seattle -nice for sure. He told us how to get cheaper pizzas at any Dominos we want.
