Somewhat Irritating

The Mariners didn't get off to a very good start, and around 3rd inning it was time for some food. This proved more difficult than expected, since no single food stand had all the stuff I wanted to get, which was chicken fingers for M, a hot dog and garlic fries for me, and a Red Hook to drink.

I wanted to get the beer last so I wouldn't have to carry it all around, so I got the chicken fingers here first. They came with fries (but NOT garlic fries, which were their own stand that sold garlic chicken fingers, and not regular chicken fingers) so I decided to forget the garlic fries and just deal with the regular ones that came with the chicken fingers.

I then went to a different stand to get my hot dog, but they only had "regular" beer, meaning Bud and Coors, so I went back to the chicken finger stand which had the Red Hook. The line had grown and I didn't want to wait again. I spotted a different stand that just had drinks and they turned out to have Deschutes Mirror Pond (mentioned a few days ago in my Lockspot post) which is a favorite of mine, so I got one there and headed back to my seat. I had missed a run scored, but not much else.

While waiting for the beer, a couple was talking to the attendant at the drink stand. I think they were talking about how the attendants were from Canada and the couple said, "Oh, our daughter's name is Canada". Sigh. People. Why?

Also on the Canadian thing, the stands here all take Canadian money. Weird.
