Local Late Lunch

I made some work progress today and before M and I headed out to the mini-strip for a very late lunch/early dinner. We're off to a Mariners game (playing the Red Sox) tonight and figure we need to leave at 5 if we're going to get there in time to park. Traffic in Seattle is quite bad, and you need to leave a lot of time if you're planning on going anywhere that other people are going.

I'm sure that M wishes I could drive her car well enough to take over some of the chauffeuring detail, but that appears to not be in the cards.

M was craving some chocolate, so we stopped at Macrina bakery and got a flourless ganache cupcake and a fucelle with butter and jam. Neither was very good.

We went across the street and I got a pork salsa verde burrito that was also not very good. M got a chicken taco that lacked goodness as well. So far the only think I like there is their fish, which I will remember to get next time. I took home the remains of the burrito to make an omelette tomorrow.
