Late Relaxed

Lazy Sunday was interrupted briefly by Mush barfing, which may have explained some of his earlier jackassery this weekend.

M and I decided to watch Spider-man 3, but apparently the copy that I had was in Spanish, so that didn't work out.

Around midnight we decided to see if any of the Perseid meteor shower would be visible from our deck and spent the next hour or so watching for little streaks of light. We saw a few. The last time (and first time) I saw meteors was a few years ago in Prospect Park when J and I headed out (I think at 5 or 6 AM) to watch the Leonids. Those were a lot of meteors.

Of course, every time I hear "meteor" I think "meatball", and it reminds me of one of my favorite childhood books, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. I highly recommend this one, but be prepared for your child to really want the events of the book to happen.

Wow, that's 2 childhood book posts in a short timespan.
